Another day, another Stakes winner for breeders Tally-Ho Stud and their super sire Kodiac. Just days after Gifted Master (IRE) won the Golden Rose Stakes at Lingfield, SECOND THOUGHT (IRE) took the Listed Hyde Stakes at Kempton on Wednesday evening. A Listed winner in March and runner-up in the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes in May, the three-year-old colt was running over a mile for the first time.

Racing in mid-field, he made good progress from two furlongs out and disputed the lead inside the final furlong, prevailing closing home to win by half a length. The winning margin was half a length, with consistent performer Keystroke taking second.

SECOND THOUGHT (IRE) is a full-brother to three-time winner Forever Red (IRE), from the family of champion three-year-old filly Sky Lantern (IRE).
