TALENT AND POTENTIAL AT GOFFS HORSES IN TRAINING SALE

The Goffs Autumn Horses In Training Sale 2018 will take place on 7th November at Goffs sales facility in Kill, County Kildare. Beginning at 12pm, 125 lots will go through the ring, offering buyers the opportunity to invest in both proven talent and potential.

Recent graduates of the sale who have gone on to achieve notable success include Listed Garnet Stake winner Sarrocchi (IRE), Listed Premio Alessandro Perrone winner Val Nanda (IRE), Grade 1 Rodeo Drive Stakes placed Responsibleforlove (IRE), Grade 3 Joe Mac Novice Hurdle winner Sayar (IRE), and many more.

Horses will be presented by Aga Khan Studs, Fox Covert Stables, Glebe House Stables, Glenburnie Stables, and many other reliable sources. Highlights from the sale include:

Lot 598 – Unraced 2yo Shamardal colt out of Group 1 Prix Morny winner Silca’s Sister. Consigned by Rathbride Stables.

Lot 611 – Yolo Again (IRE) – 2yo filly by Toronado (IRE). Two wins and three places from eight starts. Consigned by Fox Covert Stables.

Lot 620 – Johnny Carney (IRE) – 4yo gelding by Casamento (IRE) out of North East Bay. Half-brother to Group 1 Dubai World Cup winner Prince Bishop (IRE). Consigned by Danestown Stables.

Lot 647 – The Kid Bobby B – 3yo colt by Nathaniel (IRE) out of Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes winner Langs Lash (IRE). Half-brother to Listed Coolmore Canford Cliffs Stakes winner Waipu Cove. One win from four starts. Consigned by Glenburnie Stables.

Lot 665 – Raeseeya – 3yo filly by Dansili out of Group 1 Durban Golden Slipper and Group 1 Avontuur Estate Cape Fillies’ Guineas winner Rumya. Twice placed from three starts in 2018. Consigned by M D O’Callaghan Racing.

Lot 679 – Kottayam (IRE) – Unraced 3yo Declaration of War gelding out of Group 2 Blandford Stakes winner Katiyra (IRE). Consigned by Aga Khan Studs.

Lot 684 – Sandaryann (IRE) – 3yo gelding by Rip Van Winkle (IRE) out of Sanariya (IRE). Half-brother to 2010 European Champion 3yo Filly Sarafina. Once placed from four starts. Consigned by Aga Khan Studs.

Lot 685 – Sheberghan (IRE) – 3yo colt by Sea The Stars (IRE) out of Listed and Group 3 placed Shebella. One win and one place from three starts in 2018. Consigned by Aga Khan Studs.

Lot 688 – Dubai Is Great – 3yo colt by Cape Cross (IRE) out of Group 2 Schwarzgold Rennen winner Scatina (IRE).  One place from one start in 2017. Consigned by Glebe House Stables.

Lot 690 – Twilight Payment (IRE) (pictured) – 5yo gelding by Teofilo (IRE) out of Dream On Buddy (IRE). Three wins and 14 places from 18 starts. Listed Sycamore Lodge Loughbrown Stakes and Listed Her Majesty’s Plate winner.  Group 2 Curragh Cup placed. Fourth in Group 1 Irish St Leger 2018. Half-brother to Group 2 placed Bandiuc Eile (IRE).
