The 2019 Tattersalls Ireland-Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale will offer a select catalogue of 211 high-class two-year-olds and is now available in print or online. This year's sale represents the inaugural breeze-up collaboration between Tattersalls Ireland and Goresbridge and will take place on Thursday May 23rd and Friday May 24th 2019. Horses will breeze at Fairyhouse Racecourse on May 23rd from 12pm and will be available to view before and after the breeze at the Tattersalls Ireland sales complex. The auction will be held in the Tattersalls Ireland sales ring on May 24th, beginning at 10am.

The 2018 Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale was a particularly strong renewal as record-breaking top lot EAST won in Group company in France before progressing to run second in the Group 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Churchill Downs. DAN CONTROL (IRE), formerly known as Bruce Wayne (IRE), was also impressive during his juvenile campaign, running second to Classic hopeful Ten Sovereigns (IRE) in the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes before being sold privately to Hong Kong where he has since won on his only start for trainer John Moore. Listed-winning filly ANGELIC LIGHT (IRE) was also sourced during the 2018 edition and holds an entry in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

The 2019 catalogue includes a wide range of sires, from proven stallions such as Acclamation, Dandy Man (IRE), Dark Angel (IRE), Holy Roman Emperor (IRE), Lope De Vega (IRE), Kodiac and Teofilo (IRE), to new boys Anjaal (IRE), Cable Bay (IRE), Free Eagle (IRE), French Navy, Fulbright, Gutaifan (IRE) and Iwawood (IRE). There is also an international flavour to the pedigrees, with sires such as Kitten’s Joy, Lemon Drop Kid, More Than Ready, The Factor and Verrazano represented.
